The Swiss Shooting Sports Association (SSV) is a member of Swiss Olympic and the fifth largest sports association in Switzerland with an office in Lucerne. 33 regional and cantonal shooting sport associations with 2600 clubs are affiliated to the SSV. The association was founded in 1824 and has around 130,000 members. Almost 60,000 of these are licensed shooters. Our athletes take part in national and international, Olympic and non-Olympic competitions in the disciplines of rifle 300m, 50m and 10m and pistol 50m, 25m and 10m. Together with I Believe In You, the SSV has launched this shooting sport channel to enable shooters to carry out their sport projects and thus secure the financing of their sporting goals.
