Basketball is one of the most widely played sports in the world. Switzerland is no exception to this trend, with more than 210 clubs and 25,000 licensed players across the country. The development of basketball in Switzerland is driven by Swiss Basketball, the governing body, but also—and above all—by the commitment of regional associations, clubs, and licensed members. Through specific projects led by clubs, Swiss basketball is gaining visibility, growing, and enabling an ever wider audience to take up the sport.

In this context, and as support for the launch, Swiss Basketball provides a contribution of CHF 100 per project for all "Basketball" projects launched on I Believe In You. Only collective projects, led by teams or clubs, are eligible.

This support should in no way be considered as primary funding, but rather as an initial contribution aimed at supporting project leaders who are working to develop basketball in Switzerland.
