Women’s basketball in Zürich deserves a bigger future!

As the women’s team of BC Zürich 93, we are proud to enter our first season in the NLB — the second-highest basketball league in Switzerland. Stepping up to this level also brings additional costs, from professional coaching and training to travel and competition expenses. With this crowdfunding campaign, we are asking for your support to help us create the professional training environment we need to compete, grow, and take this next step together.

But this project is about more than building a competitive women’s NLB team.

It is about creating a long-term and sustainable environment for women’s basketball in Zürich, a structure that remains, grows and inspires future generations.

We want to build a place where women athletes receive visibility, support, and opportunities to reach the next level.

With your support, you will help provide:

• Professional coaching & individual training — developing our skills through specialised coaching and one-on-one training

• Training & competition infrastructure — supporting equipment, warm-up gear, and other season essentials.

• Travel to away games & competitions — covering transportation and travel costs so we can compete beyond Zürich

• Visibility for women’s basketball — promoting women’s basketball and inspiring more people to follow the sport

• Long-term development for female athletes in Zürich — creating sustainable opportunities for women and girls to grow in basketball

Our vision is not only one successful season.

Our vision is to create a lasting future for women’s basketball in Zürich, from young talents to the NLB level and beyond.
