Let's bring swiss saber to the top!

I am Mattia Serino. I was born in Italy in 2009, but in 2012 my familiy moved to Switzerland and 1 year and a half ago I started the procedure to become Swiss. I lived a few years in Arnex-sur-Orbe, where I still have friends, but since 2019 I live in Aubonne. I always loved swards and shields.

When I was 4 years old, my mum brought me to watch a sabre competition in Yverdon-les-Bains and I was deeply amazed. Since then, I started to practice this sport and now I am getting closer to my dream of becoming one of the best Swiss sabre fencers in Europe. Thanks to my results in the European and Swiss sabre circuits, I was selected to be part of one of the special classes "sport-etude" of the Gymnase August Piccard in Lausanne. This great opportunity allows me to continue my studies while having the time to train at best in Founex (Tuesday and Thursday) and Geneva (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
  
Last year, I participated in the U17 European competitions of Gödöllő (HU), Eislingen (DE), and Barcelona (ES). This year, I competed also in Sofia (BG) and Segovia (ES). Thanks to my results, I have been called to the Europen Championship in Antalya (TR) this February to represent the Swiss national team.
  
For the moment, all the expenses for my fencing trips around Europe are in charge of my family. This is why I am asking your kind support.
