Help me achieve my dream! 

I'm Axel, and I'm a 15 years old ski racer from Lausanne, Switzerland.  Skiing and ski racing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I am motivated to see how far I can progress in this tough sport.

As a member of SC Morgins I have competed with the Swiss regional Ski Valais selection team CRP Dents du Midi for the past 4 years. I am proud of the progress I made during that time, with several top results and a few podiums as well.  In the SwissSki rankings I progressed from 19th in my age group in the 1st year to 6th at the end of last season. 

This season, as I prepare for my first year of FIS racing, I have joined the regional Ski Romand selection, and will represent Ski Club Les Diablerets.

My goal is to qualify for the national training center in Brig within the next two seasons, and eventually join the national elites.

FIS racing will be a big jump from the level where I have been competing until now, in a sporting sense and also financially.  

In addition to travel costs and coaching fees, there are important costs relating to the equipment.  

To help my parents cover these costs, I have launched this crowdfunding campaign. I will need 2 pairs slalom skis, 2 pairs of Giant slalom  skis, 1 pair of Super G skis, boots and various other pieces of equipment. With my athlete discount from ski partner STOCKLI, the total cost comes to just over 5'000 CHF. 

I appreciate any way you can help, and any amount donated will put me closer to my goal, and enable me to continue my career in this sport for many years to come.
